The 5th Primary School and Sportschool is located in a greeny area of the suburb of Gyula.
It has got a very big sport ground, a park, a modern gym and some laboratories.
Our school is a children-centred school characterized by two words: play and win.
It is an educational sportschool, so our teachers deal with pupils who have talent in different kinds
of sports.
Our teachers are synergistic, helpful and innovative people.They give scope for the children's abilities,
provide chance for them to show their talents.
Our students regularly take part in different competitions including the sport in an efective way and win
prizes.
Our school psychologist deals with children with special needs,too.
In 2009/2010 years we won a tender to make our school methods more effective. We got some useful ecquipments:
laptops,PC, digital boards, projectors. These ecquipments can help teachers to be more and more effective
in teaching, and students in learning.
We provide more lessons for Maths and sports, especially handball, swimming, football, athletics and
basketball.
Our school has got a school canteen, a big dining room and a dental surgery room.
Our school canteen has won the name of "The healthiest canteen".
